How to play Mini Golf
Open Mini Golf, check the instructions and begin a round. Sink all three holes within twelve strokes per hole. Look at what changes after your first action. Keep the instructions close while learning this activity. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.
Three original obstacle courses; wall bounces and friction.
Make the controls familiar
Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart. Notice the feedback after each input.
Your goal
Sink all three holes within twelve strokes per hole. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. The example below illustrates a decision.
Step by step
- Aim a stopped ball.
- Set power and putt.
- Wait until it stops before another shot.
- Use Next hole after sinking.
Controls
Touch aim, angle/power sliders and Putt. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Contact us with the game and device if a control does not respond.
A useful example
A soft final putt can sink where a fast crossing would not. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Keep the controls nearby.
Watch out for this
The hole accepts only a sufficiently slow ball. Compare the situation with the worked example. Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal.
